Strum Along

It wasn't long when I first started to self-tutor for guitar. And just yesterday, I realised that I made a major mistake. I didn't know that for each note, the strumming does not always include all the strings. So for now, I have to relearn everything from the start. Self-taught guitar isn't as easy as I thought it was anymore. After all those hours of non-stop practice everyday, it has all been wasted. Really feel like signing up for real lessons and be serious in my practice.

Guitar With Me

Never thought that I could succeed in fixing my guitar strings. Was just testing out if I could do it myself with the same old string since it was still long enough. And guess what! I did it! Got my hands all dirty though, but it paid off. Haven't tuned it yet for now, but soon...

What should I practice today? Should I learn how to change chords faster or practice strumming? Maybe I should learn how to play more chords, since I only know how to play about 13 notes only... not a lot. Should I go for learning how to play a song? I guess it's too soon.

Why did I name my guitar Christy? Basically, this name just came to my mind. And also the fact that this guitar is going to be used for praising God, so why not use Christ for it's name and just add a Y at the back. Sounds nice.

Do You Play The Guitar?

Hey!! Check me out... the new guitar lover. Have not at all any idea why I fell in love with guitar, but yeah..i just love it.

Anyway, I just got an ancient guitar from my aunt just this Sunday. Don't know how to play it yet, so I'm self tutoring with online websites. Cool eh? Four days with my guitar and I'm doing just fine. Got two guitar picks from Yamaha at TM and new strings too. Don't know how to change the strings, so did not plan to change it so soon. But thanks so much to my darling guitar who wants a new set of string, she snaped the strings by herself without me knowing... :( How am I gonna get my strings changed now? How now brown cow...

Christy shall be my guitar's name from today onwards. Was hoping to practice guitar chords, but Christy had not allowed me to. Just had it tuned and now the effort's gone down the drain. Well...accept it. Not going to, or should I say can't touch my guitar for the next few days until someone can help me out with the strings.
